Overall, I enjoyed building these boats. The level of detail is superb, and when painted, bring the ships alive.
As these are the first GHQ models I have done, I can only compare them to the Langton models that I already own. I prefer the Langton models for the simple reason that the masts are much stronger than the GHQ ones. Also, the Langton ships have a bowsprit that adds more detail to the ship. If you can afford Langton, then in my opinion buy them; if not, then go for GHQ.
