The next part was to glue a plastic spacer on the base, mount the legs to the circuitboard, and drill a hole to align the point for the brass rod that will support the vid screen.

Okay, here is a pic of the mech and base. Now I set them aside, and went to work on the vid screen.

To build the vid screen, I just bent the brass rod (after cutting it to length) and glued it to the back of the LCD from the cell phone.
