The Membership System is temporarily offline for maintenance. It should be restored shortly. Final AssessmentWe thought that the game overall was well thought-out and played fairly smoothly. Some of the rules in the book could have been explained a little clearer, and thereby making the game a bit slower to learn. Several parts of the rules were over-worded to explain simple things, almost provoking more thinking/reasoning than was required. Once we had a grasp of the rules, play was straightforward with minimal checking of the game book. The dice were a great way of using opposing dice rolls, while keeping the game simple. The cards were also straightforward; however, having the special rules on the back caused several instances of overlooking special abilities and unit requirements. It would definitely be more advantageous to have all the stats on one side. We really liked the use of the painted miniatures on the cards, which gave us visuals of some of the miniatures we may purchase in the future to add to the game. The two miniatures that were included were especially well sculpted and they were cleanly cast. ![]() Final Grades:
