I next applied GW Dark Green Ink. This didn't work out too well, to be blunt.
I applied a layer of FolkArt Forest Green. Then I drybrushed a layer of GW Goblin Green over that...
...and finished with a light layer of GW Rotted Flesh.
For the head, I first put down a layer of GW Blazing Orange. I applied a lighter layer of GW Fiery Orange, followed by a very light layer of GW Sunburst Yellow, which I also drybrushed over the FolkArt Forest Green that I used for the stem.
I painted the mouth and eyes FolkArt Black. I actually don't remember what I used for the eyes. I applied a dab of GW Sunburst Yellow in the mouth of the one with the open mouth.
One of the figures had a stake. I painted it GW Terracotta, and drybrushed it with GW Snakebite Leather. This completed the painting stage.
An interesting side note here: As my daughter was looking through my stash of GW paints, she noted the various names of the colors. She asked me if they had been named by twelve-year-old boys!
