Agreed, they turned out well. I like them. Would make interesting Morlock type things for true 25mm VSF games.

I really enjoy the chance to paint Demonworld figures from Hobby Products. These figures are well detailed and animated. Given that the packaging is designed to support the Demonworld boardgame, there is still some nice variety in poses. Each pack includes either a leader figure (as this pack did) or a command/color party.

Painting

I chose to try and follow the packaging, and went for a flesh tone with white or off-white hair/furry bits. I primed with "brand x" flat white . I then used Apple Barrel Mink for the flesh, Honey Brown for the wood, and Gunmetal for the few pieces of armor on the leader. Pewter Grey was used for the stone axes. The teeth were picked out in Antique White.

Even with all the detail, these figures almost painted themselves, I think it only took a couple hours total. The last step was to brush them with Minwax Tudor Satin Polyshades stain.

I received these just after I moved into a new house. I regret I forgot to take in-progress pictures.

The figures will be based to match others in the TMP fantasy armies. These are "giant" figures in 15mm scale, standing about 24mm from foot to eye-level.
