To complete my modest Gamilon fleet, I at last try the most complex-looking ship they've sent me - the Gamilon S-Type Battleship. I've been able to persuade the good folks at Musashi to provide me with three of these ships, enough (in company with the carrier) for a typical Gamilon force.

three ships

The S-Type Battleship is a formidable ship, carrying a pair of heavy energy cannon, several heavy laser turrets, over thirty light missile launchers, and a hangar bay for battlecraft. The model is enthusiastically studded with fins, bumps, holes, and panel lines. (The actual model is about 2.5" long, so these photos are "larger than life.")

the other parts

Each blister pack also includes a clear plastic flight stand, and a set of photo-etched metal parts. (The photo-etched parts include parts for a number of different ships - for the S-Type Battleship, only two metal fins [top, left] will be used.) The blister pack also includes an instruction sheet, giving general assembly tips, showing which fins to attach and where, and indicating the correct paint scheme.
