My only gripe on a good job is the blandness of the bases.. add something – rocks (kitty litter) or plants (citadel dry grass flock is great) – the bases look like you glued them onto sandpaper and detract from a very very nice job on the vehicles (IMHO). Either that or add more colour to them.. Simple job is here – sand, wash and drybrush once:

I'm exactly the opposite – I want my bases bland, invisible, blending into the wargame table! (And sometimes, yes, I use sandpaper for bases
