Ya done good! Those models look great. I can't spot where you touched up the paint at all. |

Nice touch up, can I point out that this was pre-dodgy resin clean-up procedures and new packing procedures, and that in these extreme fault conditions I always offer a free repair service. The resin issues have been discussed many times and my solutions posted in various threads, its an example of not using plastic primer on these types of resin. Packing now, is exclusively by securely screwing the resin into the plastic pre-paint cases, almost fully post proof ( well maybe not Germany where om sure they go through some sort of drop kicking exercise. Bit surprised this has surfaced now after 2/3 years and my offer of repair has not been reflected. Due to these rare experiences I have instigated new packing procedures. |

Bit surprised this has surfaced now after 2/3 years and my offer of repair has not been reflected. Took me that long to repair the models and get them photographed. I don't remember an offer of repair, but probably you did and I just don't remember. You're working on another Workbench project for us, right? |

Luckily I don't encounter this any more, but my customers will vouch that I'm the first to offer any remedial action at my expense for over zealous postal workers actions. Bar one German experience a few years back and this one there hasn't been anything similar or if this magnitude since my new packing approach. This is akin to showing someone my high school homework, and reviewing it now that I'm 48!Anyways… Yes I have some workbench projects for you, originally intended to cover the cost of some banner ads, however after the relentless persual of these funds by your elfs, despite explaining that the workbench articles are in progress ( admittedly a long while) subsequently I've paid all my dues, and have slipped priority of these somewhat. |

Nice Job Bill those early T-34's look as special as the day they were mastered, just not your average T-34 :) Best thing for plastic or resin kits is to wash in lukewarm water with a few drops of dish washing liquid and leave to drain. Prime with enamels, can be Humbrol, testors, Tamiya or plain old spraycan matt or semi-gloss just to give paint something to stick to. Good Bubble wrap with hulls and turrets seperate takes alot of beating but screwed up newspaper can also take a good kicking. I love Neil's work and you have done an amazing job matching it up. I do hope you have been on my blog so you can keep up with your next purchases – lol amashcroft.blogspot.com Cheers Tony |
