Those paint jobs do not flatter the models at all, and last time around Spartan was getting knocked for it quite unfairly. I've said it before and I'll say it again, the Relthoza ships are darned nice models and look fine even with relatively basic paint jobs. These ones link auction are a simple two-tone highlighting job and a wash, and then some contrasting details picked out. Easy, quick, and effective – even if they aren't based on an actual arachnid's colors. |

I agree. I'm a really big fan of Shawn and Blue Table in general however my impression remains the same that these represent a job that is well far from his usual efforts. I can justify the paint if it's a "Level 2" just get it painted quick level of paint job but the bases really bug me. |

That looks like it took about ten minutes a ship to come up with that – base with a mid grey, drybrush some lighter grey, daub on some yellow (and blue for the windows – and I mean DAUB ON) and that's it? That's
..not such a good deal. |

The nice thing is that I can show you the photos, and everyone can come to their own opinion. |

They should have been embarrassed to send that back. |

If you need new bases I highly suggest CorSec engineering. |
