Did you glue the legs and arms still? I too have picked up several figures with the intent to use them as monsters or aliens in sci-fi games. I have not opened the packs yet. I think I will glue the figures into a static pose, fill some seam gaps, and repaint them.

I've never really been into action figures, but I've been collecting the Final Faction figures from Dollar Tree to try something new on my wargaming table, and because the price is right!

Kharn Brute, Venom Edition

As shown previously, I already have two of the Kharn Brutes from the original edition of the figures. However, the manufacturer keeps coming out with new editions and variations.

Kharn Brute, Venom Edition

So now I've picked up the limited-edition Venom Kharn Brute, identical to the original except for the color scheme.

Kharn Brute, Venom Edition

The one I picked up came with the same gun as the original figures; I see that the new Venoms come with a green whirlwind weapon (that looks vaguely like an ice cream cone).

Kharn Brute, Venom Edition

I pretty much left the figure the way it came, except to take the green plastic gun and paint parts of it.

Kharn Brute, Venom Edition

The Brute stands 4" tall, shown here next to a 28mm figure. Could work as a big alien or a fantasy troll, too.

Kharn Brute, Venom Edition

I based the action figure on a 60mm x 80mm wooden base from LITKO, but left the arms and head poseable, and the gun is still removeable.
