solve the rotation problem with magnetic flight stands?
The nice thing about having a 'system' is that projects get done without having to think about it.
My system is that when a model or set of models comes off the workbench completed, the next model or set of models for that project goes into the workbench queue. This means that, slowly but surely, the project will get finished.
But you may say, "Bill, wouldn't it be more efficient or more timely to do all the models in one big burst of effort?"
To which I would respond, I hate doing big batches because it feels like work, I would rather be inefficient, have some variety on my workbench, and enjoy the hobby. Your mileage may vary.
So once again, here is another unit of SAC vehicles. I think that stands for South African Coalition or something like that, but I'm using these for a psychic overlord army.
Same painting scheme as before: prime black, drybrush three shades of progressively lighter grays, wash with black ink. Tires are a bit lighter color. Red 'x' is the mark of the overlord. Turrets glued down so they don't get lost.
Then I base them on LITKO 3mm wooden bases, in this case 1" x 1¼" due to size of the models. Flocked with black sand for an urban environment. FlexSteel on the bottom for storage in magnet-lined boxes.
So these go into the storage box, and the next unit enters my workbench queue…
