In part one of this series, I said that I would do the rifle teams next. Well, I forgot about the PKM LMG Teams!

PKM LMG Teams

The Motor Rifle Company boxed set provides figures and large bases for two PKM machinegun teams.

Hmmm… got a little sloppy on the flocking!

These figures were painted by our friends at Old Guard Painters, matching the box art.

When the painted figures were returned, I based them on the standard Flames of War-type base with holes to plug the figures into.

PKM LMG Teams

These are the newer 'indestructible' plastics from Battlefront, and they sometimes have some odd warps due to being made of flexible plastic. The figure with binoculars, for instance, has a thin gun barrel that I bent back a few times to get it to stay straight.

For the prone figures, I glued them down and them clamped them to get them flat to the ground. I added some filler where any gaps remained.

Then I painted the bases, filled in any gaps around the figures, and flocked the bases.

The final steps were to seal with matte spray, and apply LITKO FlexSteel base bottoms for storage purposes.

Next, to finish basing up the rifle teams! Really!
