After building the Giant's Skull scenic, I had a lot of 'bones' left over!
The 'bones' were basecoated, then attached with white glue to the previously painted and flocked wooden base.
A toothpick was inserted to represent a wooden shaft holding the skulls in place.
The 'bones' were then highlighted and washed in place.
This project used two skulls, and the last two of the bones from the original pack.
The base is, once again, one of the wooden 'flowers' that you could formerly buy ten for $1 USD. (No longer available at the dollar stores.)
It looks like I did a lot of texturing on these, but actually it's just the lucky effect of the sparkles mixing into the basecoat, accentuated by a simple brown wash.
Above, a 28mm fantasy figure is posed with the scenic to illustrate the size.
