I suspect that the QuarterMaster Table Top got its name from the simple fact that it has four panels which fold up when not in use.

So you fold it out...

And fold it out once more...

...and you have a four foot by four foot playing area - just a bit wider than my kitchen table!
And since I'm planning to "get into" a particular ruleset that favors a gaming area of precisely 4' x 4', I think this will work out great for me.
(If you prefer the same size but less folding, the Arena Table Top from the same company is still 4' x 4', but only has one fold down the middle.)
When you order the Table Top, you have the option of which Scape (flocking) you want: Terran (green), Badlands (earth brown), Bloodstone (Martian) and Icelands (white). I went with Badlands for more of a "muddy terrain" look - grass green gets boring after a while...
The Table Top is made of lightweight material, so it is easy to move around - but is still reasonably durable. But I wouldn't throw it into the corner when done - be gentle with it, and it should last a long time.
