I don't know if this ever happens to you, but it seems that these vehicles got sucked into a black hole until they were finally deposited on my workbench recently.
These were painted by Old Guard Painters at the same time as their companions, the M901 ITVs we featured a few years ago. I don't know where they've been hiding all this time!
All I needed to do was base them on some Flames of War plastic bases.
I added LITKO FlexSteel on the bottom for storage in magnet-lined boxes. I don't want my vehicles bouncing around om their way to a game!
The M163 Vulcan Air Defense System (VADS), was a self-propelled anti-aircraft gun (SPAAG) used by the U.S. Army until 1994.
Though the M163 was intended for use against aircraft, it was often used for ground support.
The lightweight turrets on the model pop out easily, so I am tempted to glue them down.
This completes my current expansion plans for my U.S. forces in Team Yankee.
