I've still got leftovers from my styrofoam skulls and bones, so I built another scenic!
One of the advantages of styrofoam is that you can easily break it, distress it, carve it, and stick things into it. Above, you can see that I've inserted a broken toothpick into one of the skull's eye-sockets.
I've created this scenic by painting, flocking and sealing an inexpensive wooden base, then painting two bones and a skull, and gluing them into place. A final spray of matte clear seals everything. One of the bones was broken in the pack. I used a black marker to darken some of the teeth.
I've found it useful to stick toothpicks into the bottoms of the skulls, then use the toothpick as a handle while painting the skull. Then I used a broken toothpick as the weapon that killed this poor Giant.
