We've shown you the minions, the demon warriors, and the flying demons - now here are the Sorcerers themselves, the final piece in the 15mm Sorcerer's Legion boxed set (one per box).

Sorcerers

The figures were painted for TMP by PhilGreg Painters. I sent them the box art, but told them to go with their own instincts - the box art shows a sorcerer who has little resemblance to the sculpted figure; the back of the box shows a sorcerer figure in dark robes with dark hair and beard.

Sorcerers (back)

Interestingly, the PhilGreg painter was obviously influenced by the (mostly bald) minions in the army, and has painted these fellows with strange bulbous heads, or flesh-colored hair, or maybe skullcaps of human flesh. (I prefer the skullcap theory.) The black daggers are also a nice touch.

Sorcerers

I chose to base the figures individually, for flexibility (normal basing for Mighty Armies is to create a sorcerer stand, with one sorcerer and three minions).

Some spots of paint wore off in shipping, so I need to do minor touch-up to the hands. There's also a paint chip on the red sorcerer's robes - I never noticed it until now, so I probably did that while basing him (darn my fingers!).

The Sorcerer's Legion boxed set was originally released for Mighty Armies, but is not currently available from Rebel Minis.
