This ship comes in one piece, plus the two-part stand. It comprises a crecent-shaped wing with each tip enclosing a globe; a larger globe sits between the wings (cockpit? bridge?). A triangular "fin" rises from the back, and a three-stage engine is visible at the rear and from beneath. A circle-with-dimple on the bottom provides firm contact for the shaft of the stand. There are lots of detail touches - the way the shape of the ship "cascades" from the main hull out to the wings, the covering of most of the hull with inscribed whorls, the way the three globes are "attached" to the ship with "leaves" and "tendrils." There is a seam visible around the entire model, but it isn't major (and given that the details are inscribed rather than raised, could be cleaned up without risking loss of detail). 34mm long x 30mm wide x 11mm tall. |
