Here is a pair of M901 ITV tank destroyers from Battlefront's Team Yankee line.
These 1:100 scale models were assembled and painted by our friends at Old Guard Painters. There are four models in the box; we asked them to assemble two of them as the M901 TOW-firing tank destroyer.
I asked the painters to match the paint scheme from the illustrations on the box. (The only error I can spot is that the panels above the tracks are not camouflage in the illustrations.)
When the models came back painted, the only thing I did was to add Team Yankee bases.
The bases are not required by the game system, but they allow me to add LITKO FlexSteel base bottoms – that keeps the models from knocking together in the magnet-lined storage box on the way to the game.
The painting service not only painted the models, but also assembled them. I just sent them the box.
The painters also applied all the decals.
In the first-edition rules, two of these vehicles form an anti-tank platoon. I need to check the new edition, I think they allow a scout platoon too…
