I believe this particular model is from the second wave of the Pacific Aircraft series, which means a different paint scheme was available previously.

From a "combat model" perspective, one liability is that the cockpit is empty. However, the clear plastic is a bit translucent, so that the emptiness isn't obvious.

I'm not an expert on this aircraft, so I hope that those who are can comment on when and where these markings would be appropriate. In general, the model is neatly painted. Two minor glitches are seen in the photo below - some red blotches on the fuselage, and a tail wheel that isn't completely painted.

Underside details include the tail wheel, landing gear, and landing gear doors.

Gamers are more likely to want a model with the landing gear up - however, the landing gear wells don't appear deep enough to hold the landing gear.

The display stand peg fits into the square opening on the bottom of the plane; the round hole is where the screw is inserted.
