Fortunately, Fernando Enterprises came to my rescue. I sent them the figures. For painting instructions, I scanned in the paper figure art from the boardgame and printed them out at large size, with notes to identify each figure.
The package took two weeks to arrive in Sri Lanka. A month later, they started sending me photos of their work for approval, and the entire job (including more figures than shown in this article) was finished within six weeks of their receiving the figures. (It might have been done faster, but I was a bit tardy in replying to their emails asking for approval...) Shipping back to the U.S. took a little over a week.
I then based the figures myself (using a random assortment of slottabases), plastered the undersides to give them a bit more weight, and flocked the bases with black art sand.
This figures in this Showcase article are SABRE agents - in other words, the "good guys" sent to infiltrate the German base. Each character has two modes: assault and raid, indicating whether they are using stealth or firepower.
Since my purchase of these figures, Warm Acre has introduced a resculpted second edition of their figure line. I guess that makes my figures collectible...
