Last time, you saw the command stands for my Volcano Dwarves.

This time, the Dwarf Axemen have made it through!

For some curious reason, I only have enough figures for three stands. The current manufacturer sells them four-to-a-pack, mixed with four Dwarf swordsmen; but I bought the old Grenadier packs, which must have had a different figure mix/count.

These figures are 'old school' and are 12mm from foot to eye, so are small compared to most ranges today.

There are three poses in the set.

One of the figures has a bit of a lean.

As with the previous figures, these were sent to our friends in Sri Lanka, Fernando Enterprises, came back painted, and then waited patiently for me to base them on Mighty Armies 1" x 2" bases (painted yellow). I contoured, painted, and flocked the bases, added LITKO FlexSteel on the bottom (for magnetic storage), and sealcoated everything with flat matte.

I imagined that these troops would fight in orderly lines, so I kept the figures lined up on the bases.

More to Come!
