I'm continuing to explore the mysterious contents of the U.S. Specialists pack from the Charlie Company 20mm Vietnam War range. While the range is still available, this pack is no longer in production, and I was unable to get further information about these figures from the manufacturer.

In our previous episode, you identified photographers, but wondered why they were in uniform rather than civilian attire. This time, we have two similar figures – what are they equipped with?

The figures in this pack were painted for TMP by Fernando Enterprises, a professional painting service in Sri Lanka.

I based the painted figures on 1" blank metal strike plates, and painted and flocked the bases.

U.S. specialist

He has a back-slung rifle, but what is he carrying? (Sorry, these close-ups came out blurry.) Or do we have two different weapons here?

And, if you can identify the figure, is it painted accurately? Your analysis is welcome.
