This wonderful model came across my workbench recently, needing repair.

When I acquired this model, it was not based, and over years of use, one of the legs had broken off.

I pinned the rear leg back into place, which entailed some drilling and the insertion of a wire to strengthen the bond. That leg is now a little shorter than it used to be. Then I mounted the model on a base for a long future life.

But here's the mystery: what is this figure, and how did it come to be in my collection?

Tripod

I have scoured the website looking for any hints (was it from a contest? a workbench article? a gift?), but I have not found any clues. Or did I buy it painted? Did I commission this?

Here is a size comparison with a 28mm Kryomek figure (MSD Games).

And if you recognize this as something you painted, please give a shout! grin
