nice work.
How did you get the guns to fix to the tripods?
Are you going to leave the bases the way they are?

Last time, you saw my Rifle Platoon. This time, I'm adding the machinegun platoon.

The set includes four Vickers heavy machinegun stands. You can buy the pack individually, or get it as part of the Mitchell's Marauders boxed set.

All the stands are identical: gunner, assistant with ammo, and rifleman.

These figures were painted by our friends in Ukraine, Old Guard Painters, based on the manufacturer's pictures.

British MG section

One challenge lies in the fact that I think these figures were sculpted before Battlefront switched to its current plastic bases with recessed holes. So, as you can see above, if you put the figures in the holes, the machineguns all fire to the left!

But I found one oddball base that worked, so the machinegun fires straight. grin

British MG section

Since the figures were painted for me, all I had to do was base them and add railroad ballast. I wanted the base to remind me of a muddy and desolate battlefield.
