In our previous article, I made some minor improvements to Specialist Shift, and based up her figure.
Now, it's on to Sergeant Steel, who in the promotional video is the team member who pilots the big VTOL, then uses his Wings of Steel to fly over and rescue some civilians.
I improved his wings by priming them black, drybrushing the central part with gunmetal, and using a silver Sharpie to improve the look of the wings themselves.
While I did paint in the back section of his visor, I could have touched up the front section where the flesh tone gets on the lens. Also, his straps are brown in front and blue on the back…
The arms are pose-able and have gripping hands, so I could get him a weapon as an upgrade. Also, unlike some of the other figures, his head is pose-able.
One more Alpha Team member to go!
