Today we're featuring both Lance & Laser's Dianite Starter Set for their WarChest game and line of figures; and the work of House of Queeg, a New Zealand-based painting service.
WarChest is a fantasy game that can be played on a regular chessboard, and features a wide variety of factions. The Dianites are "a matriarchal race of warriors and necromancers who serve Dianon, the goddess of Undeath."

The starter set contains six figures plus a treasure chest (the game's objective). The figures are also available individually, along with other Dianite figures.

The figures come with cast-on bases. House of Queeg provided a more "dungeonesque" base treatment.
House of Queeg was provided with a free hand regarding paint schemes. Brent had originally planned to do a Workbench article, but unfortunately, I've been unable to get a response from him for several months - either through email or his Yahoo! group. So I have to say that I'm pleased with his service, except for communication problems wrapping things up.

Photos for this article were taken at TMP with the exception of the picture directly above which was provided by the artist.
