Lyria - the most complex figure in this set - comprises four components:
A horse body (since Lyria is a centaur)...
Her human body, actively posed in the moment of drawing an arrow...
Her bow, which fits into her left hand...
And her mace, which hangs from her belt.
Why so many components? With the four parts molded separately, the assembled figure can be more dimensional than a single-piece figure. Obviously, the sculptor has not compromised the artist's vision in order to suit the constraints of manufacturing.
