I'm excited to add a third unit to my new Imperial (human) fantasy army.

Imperial Champions

My notes indicate that these troops are Imperial Champions. My pack contained 13 figures, enough to form three 3-figure stands, one 2-figure stand, and one 2-figure command stand (with leader figure).

Imperial Champions

I see they are listed in the current online catalog as Champions in the Dark (12 figures). I'll have to dig out my DemonWorld Empire sourcebook to learn more about that.

Imperial Champions

For now, I'm just assuming these are champions gathered provisionally into a special unit. (Which might be why they have no standardbearer.)

Imperial Champions

There are two poses of the regular figures, which I've chosen to mount three-per-stand except when I was short a figure.

Imperial Champions

These figures were painted for TMP by our friends in Sri Lanka, Fernando Enterprises. I was happy with the paint scheme from the pack, so asked them to follow that.

Imperial Champions

I formed a command stand using the leader figure and one of the regular figures. I based the painted figures on Mighty Armies plastic bases (Rebel Minis).

Please note that the shields were hand-painted – those are not decals!

More to Come!
