Lexington side view

The big fleet carriers with which the United States began the war, the two ships in this class - Lexington and Saratoga - are indispensable if you plan on gaming the major naval-air actions of the Pacific. (Lexington was at Coral Sea, while Saratoga fought in the Solomons.)

This model shows all of the major ship structures in the correct positions for 1942. The only discrepancy we noticed was that the flight deck seemed to have not enough overhang at the bow, and a bit too much at the stern.
