I don't recall how this figure came into my possession, but it's a D&D pre-painted figure from the Angelfire set.
Themed around the ultimate battle between angels and devils, the Angelfire Set contains great figures designed to expand any collection of D&D miniatures.

It's classed as a Large Rare. From what I can find online, it's no longer available except from auction-type websites.

For a bendy acrylic figure, it's not bad. The sword tends to bend and has some blobs midway, and the rider's cape has some small globs on it.

I'm amazed at how accurate the paint jobs on these pre-painted figures have become. There are some tiny spots of color in the wrong places, but nothing I felt I needed to touch up. (Maybe I'm just lazy!) There's a border on the rider's cape which is molded but painted the same color as the cape.

The painting scheme is fine, but there are no highlights, and shadowing only where the model is recessed. I made no changes.

I don't care for bendy vinyl bases, so I glued the figure down to a standard hard-plastic cavalry base. The figure was a little bit too wide for the base.

I used spackle to contour the base, then flocked it.

This was an easy expansion to my fantasy forces! Now he can smite evil and turn Undead for me…
