Lance Runolfsson (bloodaxe@cdsnet.net) of Blood Axe Miniatures has rushed us the latest releases in his 15mm WWII product line. (We'd give you the product numbers, but these are so new they haven't been added to the catalog yet!)
The prices on these kits (US$3.75) seemed pretty good to us, but to be sure, we ran a fast check on prices on comparable models from other manufacturers:
| Blood Axe Miniatures | US$3.75 |
|---|---|
| Battlefront | US$5.50 |
| Old Glory | US$6 |
| Peter Pig | US$8.75 |
| S.D.D. | US$8.95 |
It definitely seems to us that, while these Blood Axe kits may not be the most detailed representations on the market, they do cost as little as half what the competition is charging. And that means more metal on the table, if these models satisfy your requirements for good gaming pieces.
