Last year, I showed you the 'oldie' 15mm Ancients that I repainted as Half-Orcs:

Half-Orcs

Now, that was a valuable step forward for my small Half-Orc forces, but one thing kept nagging at me: They would look better with a command stand. Now, the rules I'm playing lately don't even care about command stands, but it just looks nice to have a leader figure and a banner!

Half-Orcs

Then I remembered I had some Orc command figures around here somewhere…

Half-Orcs

These are Jacobite 15mm Orcs, which are probably the same as the Ork Command figures now sold by Elite Wargames and Models (but no pictures of these figures on their website, so can't be sure). The chain-whip figure was broken, so I added a cane to his left hand.

Half-Orcs

Half-Orcs can have Orcs in command, right? grin I've done the Half-Orcs with yellow-green skin tones, and the Orcs with deeper green skin tones.

Half-Orcs

These were quick to base up and paint, and the stand adds just the right touch to the finished unit.
