For labeling, I write my label on a 3x5 card, and tape it inside the box (with the text showing through the plastic).

Like many of you, I own a lot of games. With some games, there's a rulebook and that's it. For other games, you may have multiple books and supplements, templates, cards, special markers, and other stuff which you don't want to lose!

Book, template and cards

I don't like throwing things in the box the game came with, because game boxes these days are often flimsy, and the box is never the right size. So I went to the store hunting for a suitable storage box…

Storage boxes

The box I chose is a 11" x 14" clear, stackable, plastic storage box from Sterilite.

Storage box

The Sterilite label easily peels off.

Everything goes in the box

Miscalculation! The template won't lie flat in the box, which limits how much I can fit in there.

The filled box

I was also hoping that by using a clear box, I could tell which game it was without having to label the box. Well, I guess it needs a label!
