If there's a place on the Shadowforge website that explains the background of the Tribals, I don't know about it. I really wish I knew what the concept behind them is - why some of the figures seem to be escaped slaves, or in this case what the shamanic masks mean...

So here's a Tribal berserk, fearsome-looking in her mask, with spikes strapped to her arms. She also wears a loincloth and necklace of teeth, and has unusually long hair (part of being a berserk?).

(Whoops - I got some static grass in her hair...)

Of course, there's a history in antiquity of real-life berserkers - of Greeks shedding their clothes when in a combat frency, and of Gauls fighting naked against Caesar.

I'm a bit puzzled how she's going to do damage when armed solely with spikes - but hey, it's a fantasy figure...
