I'm starting to get the first of my World War III: Team Yankee 1:100 scale Soviet Motor Rifle Company based up. I always feel better when I can field the infantry!
This is the Formation Command Team base. These figures were painted for TMP by our friends at Old Guard Painters, following the photos on the box.
After the figures were painted and returned, I based them on the standard Team Yankee plastic bases. For storage purposes, I've put LITKO FlexSteel base bottoms on them.
The boxed set also includes one SA-15 Gremlin AA Missile Team on a large base.
Funny what you notice after you take the pictures. The flock looks a bit patchy on this one!
These figures are the new 'indestructible' plastics from Battlefront – slightly flexible, almost impossible to break. But notice the bend on long parts, such as this missile launcher.
The set also provides for nine RPG-7 Anti-Tank Teams. At least, that's what it says on the box – but I've ended up with eleven teams…
Nice shoulder insignia for 1:100 scale.
This rifle has a bendy end.
Next, to finish basing up the rifle teams!
