Old-time gamers may spring a tear or two as they realize that it's time for yet another edition of the Dungeons & Dragons Basic Game. (How many have there been, over the years?)
However, nostalgia isn't the only reason why tabletop wargamers might want to take an interest in this new edition - as Wizards of the Coast is clearly promoting the new version as a miniatures game.
Included with the game are sixteen pre-painted plastic figures, each in its individual bubble-bag. Also in the box are four double-sided map tiles, dice, character sheets, 3 rules booklets, and a pack of dice.
