Katana
Katana is a set of rules specifically designed for 25mm figures, that enables you to recreate the clashes of the Samurai and their retainers in medieval Japan. It features a quick play system that will not bog the gamer down in endless detail, while still retaining much of the flavour of the period.
Scaled at one to ten, the rules set allows the larger actions to be fought at a managable level and still be small enough to cover the minor actions too. This alone makes them a perfect companion for any harried referee trying to run a campaign. The rules have enough flexibility to allow the players to devise scenarios for everything from sieges to hit and run raids.
As an added bonus, the rules include an entire section on expanding the system to 1:1 scale, allowing players to create scenarios that could just as well have been scripted by Hollywood during the hey day of the silver screen. Eleven scenarios split between both scales let the players jump right in, without having to do any research on the period.
