The databook provides ship information largely in generic terms, making it a useful resource regardless of the rules being used. Nations covered include Argentina, Austria-Hungary, Brazil, Chile, China, Denmark, France, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Norway, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, and the United States.

Scale
Each figure represents a single ship. The ground scale is selectable (default is 2" = 1,000 yards). Search Turns represent a selectable amount of time (from 1 to 12 hours per turn); Battle Turns represent 2 minutes of actual combat. Intended for use with ships from 1:1200 to 1:4800 scales.
