Dragoon vs. Hussar

Covers the "Horse and Musket" era (1775-1830). Highly detailed rules for one-on-one mounted combat, covering blade and firearm attacks, wounds, morale, surrender, campaigns, and more. The heart of the system is a small clear plastic disk divided into 8 pie-shaped sections. This disk is placed under the figure and helps regulate turning/movement and combat range/effectiveness.

A wide variety of troop types from the period are described in game terms. For large engagements, the rules recommend that each player control a single figure.

The game can be played "out of the box" with a pair of cardstock horse and rider figures which fold over to make serviceable two-dimensional figures.
