"…actions between the 'Forces of the State' and insurgent/heroic freedom fighters/terrorists…" Modern combat game with an emphasis on individual skills and battlefield leadership, rather than on the weapons themselves. The focus is on infantry engagements, but rules are included for armor, horse cavalry, and air support. Infantry weapons are abstracted into 15 basic classes. Includes three scenarios, involving French Resistance in WWII, ARVN vs Viet Cong, and a U.S. forward observer team on the Ho Chi Minh Trail (Vietnam War).
