You can't play a game without rules - unless you want to argue incessantly over "He's dead!" "No, he's not!" "Yes, he is!" At least one player in the game needs to own a copy of the rules, though most may want to (there's usually an advantage to knowing the rules!). Some rules come in boxed sets with figures and other accessories, while others come in books, booklets, or pamphlets of varying sizes and complexities. Some can be found in most game stores, while others must be obtained by mail order.
