There has not been much mention of these rules he past few years. The Yahoo group still seems active, but there is no mention of them here on TMP. Can anyone comment on the rules and how they play? |

Our group plays them. The rules run smoothly, are unit based, supported by historical lists. SL fits the period flavor; knights are just about unstoppable once sent in; they allow saving throws on unit hits OR you can attempt a predetermined outcome based on the tactical situation. Horse archers work well in both their light and heavy varieties. For gaming 1000-1300 I prefer them to FOG, DBMM and WAB. |
