Woke up this morning to a pleasant surprise – my PDF version of Dux Brit was waiting in my mailbox! thumbs up

This is definately not the printer-friendly version. Tried to print it out on a networked laserjet printer and it took 5 minutes to print the first two pages.

Since TFL is also shipping the hard copies today and tomorrow I suppose I can wait a week or so to get my hands on a paper version.

Besides, it gives me more time to paint my Splinterd Lights Saxons and Romano-Brits. grin

Drop me an email and I will let you have the printer friendly version. The all colour one is great for looking at on a tablet or in hard copy, but if you try to print that one out you'll need a second mortgage!

Lucky man! No PDF joy for me yet. And I have about a three week wait for the hard copy as I leave for vacation on Friday and so won't get to see it until I get back.

Got my pdf today as well. Looks fantastic and I am now very much looking forward to the hard copy and cards. This is a very good time to be interested in the Dark Ages as a wargamer.

Rich,

Thanks, but it is not needed.

Switched computer, network and printer and it printed like a champ!

Question though: Were we supposed to get a PDF version of the cards also?

It's not really a problem, by the time I ready to play the "real" stuff should be here.

You guys have produced another great product that I am looking forward to playing.

Thanks again,

Tim

The cards are downloadable from the Lard Island News Blog:-

Hope this helps.

Ok, a few hours later, I have my PDF. Really nice looking and the tablet functionality is great. It is nice to see someone taking advantage of the electronic format for a game.

Now I need to paint even more Arthurian li'l dudes. This game definitely gets me wanting to play.

I had not even looked and tossed it into my trash file. Saw this thread and went running to the trash bin and saved my tablet version. Love it so far. Looks great and actually pretty easy to play.

Just got the printed version and it looks very good indeed.

the tablet version is very impressive- as good as the IABSM3 version if not better. The rules themselves look great and I cant wait to get stuck into a campaign with them.

Started reading on the train to work this morning, will continue on the train home. Great stuff so far!

Argh, I have to wait for the mails to get the book….the pdf looks awesome, tbough.

VERY impressive. I was in two minds about whether I could justify (to myself, let along my wife!) starting another project. Having bought the rules bundle and got the free figure as a bonus, I have now taken the plunge and ordered both starter armies as well.
