Still working on getting some paint on my minis, but looking forward to getting in some games before the campaigning season is over.

Got my copy Wednesday. Nicely done book, lots of good period info. Looking forward to trying a cattle raid!

School hols mean my girls are up from the crack of dawn to what feels like midnight! Dux must wait to September!

Got the rules and had a read through, but school holidays are too busy for battles!

They look good. There seems to be plenty of Dark Age flavour….

I have the rules and even have the figs already painted,I'm an early dark ages/late Roman gamer from way back.I read the rules but haven't played yet.My impression is that games were divided into "raids" and "battles" with a series of "raids" leading up to a "battle" and that much of the pre game phase like challenges,Bibamus,etc.. only apply to "battle" games but not "raids".

That would make more sense Inspector Japp
