Now you can find the first AAR, Raid on Penningby 1466, from my and Jonas Dux Suecia campaign at my blog.

Dux Suecia are my migration of TooFatLardies excellent game Dux Britanniarum to the Civil Wars in Sweden during the 15th century in the shadow of the Kalmar Union.

Best regards Michael

Lovely terrain to fight over. Thanks for the report.

Question: There is one roadside structure that appears to be raised from the ground. Is that for storing grain?

Cheers,
Robert

Thanks for the great write up, the presentation on the website alone is great even before reading the content. Always enjoy going to your site. Just for clarification, did you change any troop types or qualitites at all or just rename them?

Thanks – Allen

Nice to hear that you like my efforts Allen !

I madae few changes in the troop types to fit my setting more.

Frälse / Knights (Elit) with followers as ordinary Elit Chock Cavalry always ingroups of 4 may dissmount during play.

Knektar / Mercenarys (Warriors) we used them in 2 flavours

- Skyttar / Mounted Crossbowmen always in groups of 4 may shoot from the horse back (each inch counted as 2), may charge and may dissmount during play (to get longer shoting range or to plunder the allmoges estates…)

- Fotknektar / Mercenary Foot always in groups of 6 (as ordinary warriors per the rules)

Allmoge / Yeomen (Levy) The Allmoge fought in mixed formation with equal amounts of crossbow/bow and polearms. Was used per the rules with the addition that they was allowed to shoot as missile troops with 1D6 for every 2 men(rounded up), regardless of the real weapons the minis had. We also allowed some Allmoge to be classes as "Hardened" using the stats for Knektar / Mercenarys but was still regarded Allmoge for the effect of the Fate cards.

Skyttar / Skirmishers we used the handgunners as skirmishers right out of the book, but if they scored a "6" on the effect roll they caused 2 chock to the target.

We didn´t use missile troops at all and would not even if we fielded pure missile units as they most often was armed and prepered to make some close combat to.

Today I and Jonas will continue our Dux Suecia Campaign (Migrat of TFL Dux Britanniarum to kalmar Union War i.e. Civil War in 15th century Sweden)

In the last game the Union forces tried to Raid Penningby but was repulsed due to stiff Allmoge resistance.

The Union/Archbishop forces haven´t had time to replace all losses so the Rebells under command of the Knight Nils Bosson Sture of the House Natt och Dag have the upperhand. The rebells decide to attack a Union supply column destined to the Archbishop and his troops that defending the Swedish capital Stockholm.

You can find some more pre-game pictures from the terrain I was at the club and set up befor our game tomorrow at the blog

Best regards Michael
