Can anyone reccomend some good Dark Age post Roman buildings n 25/28mm? I am looking more at Romano-British rather than Viking type hovels. Thanks. |

You could also try Grand Manner and Ebob. |

Grand Manner has a beautiful Romano British traveller's rest house in two different styles. One is a straight Roman villa the other is the same after it has been 'rebuild' with some timber and the roofs replaced with shingles instead of tiles. It's a rather big piece ( 3 houses in one) and rather costly but worth every penny. In the Roman range look at the barracks and stables for the miles fort. They are perfect examples of – not too Roman but still Roman- buildings |

I have some 4Ground houses and I love them. I will most certainly buy more. Website link: link Pics of houses on the table (Although one is a medieval one): link Pic of house being used as background:

There's always reasonable deals on ebay – manufacturers unknown. Also check out scratcfh building – there are some neat guides on this very site, tho where I am not sure. |

PMC, who sell on ebay, have some very nice buildings that would fit in the Late Roman/early Saxon period as well as later eras. I have all of them and am very pleased with them. |

Warbases do some nice buildings that are easy to make look nice and seem to be cheaper than everybody elses. I have some pictures of myine on my blog link |

Grasshopper – I had no idea that Warbases did those buildings! They look great. I really like the work you've done with the towelling. If you are at the Penarth show later this month do come and say hello. Richard |
