Does the supplement expand the campaign options to include Saxon v Saxon and Britons v Britons? |

Not officially. The only change (IIRC) is to allow the Goddodin British to start with cavalry. No reason not to knock something up though: I think the issue would be deciding who had the initiative with regard to raiding/ invading whom. |

The only thing you need for a same- force battle ( ie Sais versus Sais or Romano- Britsh against RB's) is a double deck of cards. Omit all the Saxon or Romano British ones respectively and add a new set of either Saxons or RB cards. |

Thanks gents, nut I'll probably wait for the official rules from the Lardies for internecine unpleasantness. I've had the original book for some time, but not yet used it. I've also just reconnected with my old gaming group after several months on leave, and discovered that they've recently started amassing Saxon and British armies to do double duty for both Duxes. I fully intend to acquire the Raiders supplement, but in the meantime would like to make a start towards creating one of the forces from it to contribute to the available group army-pool. Is there anywhere online I can find a list of the troop types and numbers thereof I'll need for Picts, Scots, and Irish, described in such a way that I can easily identify the required figures? Alternatively, can someone provide that information here? |
