I own the game. Too me it is a very interesting game. But the problem is my group doesn't same to be interesting in the period. Going to try to play a solo campaign. Just about have all the figures painted… |

The campaign system and scenario generation system are excellent. However, we found the actual tabletop rules are a bit cumbersome for the level of action you are supposed to playing (raid/skirmish), and the force pool is a bit slow to develop beyond basic troops types. Nevertheless, an excellent investment for playing the period. |

It's a very good tactical game. The cards make for some interesting decision making, and the scenarios are good. The campaign is excellent. |
