just looking through the rules and have a question about rivers. i understand if you pick a river as your terrain 1 piece counts as 2. how long and wide are the sections? do you use the same placement proceeder. also the same question but roads. |

The description is in Appendix 2 of FoG:AM "Battlefield Terrain, Visibility and Disorder Effects"(haven't checked FoG:R but probably there or thereabouts). Quoting it: River – Up to 4MU wide, entirely within 6MU of the side edge. The placing side dices for its difficulty when putting it down. 1 = uneven, 2-3 = rough, 4-5 = difficult, 6 = impassable. Troops can only move within 45 degrees of straight across. The river cannot have more than two bends. Hope that helps you.
